A 500 error usually means the script permissions are not set correctly or there is a syntax error in the configuration. Make sure you have uploaded the file in ASCII mode and set the permissions to 755. See the full Guestbook FAQ for more help.

HC Guestbook Lite is a simplified version of the HC Guestbook script with fewer configuration options, making it even easier to install and get running on your website.

After installing the script, you can embed the TagBox using an iframe or by linking directly to the script output. Full documentation is included in the download package.

FFA stands for Free For All. It is a page where visitors can freely add a link to their own website. See the FFA Link List FAQ for installation details.

Edit the configuration section at the top of the script file. Set the recipient email address and the path to sendmail on your server. The script documentation covers all configuration options in detail.

The Recommend script provides a form that lets visitors send an email to their friends with a link to your website. You configure the sender name and subject in the script configuration. It requires a working sendmail path on your server.
